Wheels for road riding

Hi, Looking for some new wheels!
I've got a 2007 Giant XTC 3.5 with Formula hubs and Alex DP17 rims. Front weighs 1.98kg, rear 2.62kg.
I'm not unhappy with the wheels I've got, but much of my riding, especially in winter is on the road (commuting) so I'd like something a bit lighter and ideally with less than 32 spokes as I think that looks good!
If people could offer suggestions I'd be grateful. Looking to spend around £200...

so 200 pounds for wheels/discs/tubes/tyres/and maybe a cassette.
Just buy some narrow slicks and tubes.
as tyres, tubes and discs will eat up half your budget if not more."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hey nicklouse,
Sorry, should have been clearer...
I've already got some Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres and plenty of spare tubes so no need to worry about them!
I'll probably just switch the casette accross as thats pretty quick job.
Happy to pay £200ish for the wheels and extra for rotors.0 -
Have a look and see what Merlin are selling their XT hub and Mavic 717 rims for now, should be less than £200 and they often have bundles/sale wheels that give even better value.0
