Cardboar spacers are incorporated into the packaging of your weekly shop. You do require simple tools to detach the spacer from the packet but it is quite straightforward. Simply detach and fold to the required thickness.

  • Why do you need to use them anyway ???.

Ive never used them and have never had a problem,if you take off the front or rear wheel and dont touch the lever then you will be fine even if you pull in the lever once and let go the pistons will return to their normal position. The only problem you will have is if you pump the lever 2 or 3 times and pop out the piston but who's gonna do that ????????

I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter who thinks, when I am working on the bike, it is great fun to pump the levers

if you've ever fitted a laminate floor the plastic spacers you get with the fitting kit do this job perfectly.
