Endura do some eVent 3/4 shorts, which is a pretty nice solution.

eVent is very breathable, and because they are 3/4s you don't have to worry about catching it in the chain. They aren't cheap though, about £100 usually, so unless you are gonna be using them a lot over the winter you might be better off with something else.

Altura do some waterproof trousers that use velcro tabs to keep the trouser out of the way of the chain, as do the endura singletrack trousers (not waterproof though, but pretty water resistant).

I use a pair of these for the wet weather and they're great.

They're breathable and pull up well above the waistline so u dont get any dodgy leaks or anything down the back when riding. They have a zip in the bottom of each leg and then a velcro fastening tab for added security to make sure they dont get caught up in the chain.

  • I'll third that, they look sweet for the money :D

Goddam Christmas, I wish it'd hurry up

That's the problem with Christmas day b'days. Only one shot at the pressies you'd really like and 50% less pressies than normal people over a year.

Still, I can turn water into wine I suppose
Sink the eight ball. Buy the lady a drink. And nobody knows my name.
  • Anyone tried the RonHill DXB Bikesters? They're supposed to be water resistant? Was thinking they might do the trick (well sort of.. depending how long you're out I suppose)
