  • brekkie - wheatabix with lots of sugar
lunch - usually a sandwich and then a donut or a pack of pringles (yes, a big one :P )
Tea - whatever my mum/dad cooks
Snacks - biscuit or summit whenever i'm hungry

All that and i'm still only 9 stone 4 :D
  • Bloody hell, some of you eat like hourses

I always start with a big bowl of Shreddies with chopped dates and bannana with skimmed milk and low calorie sugar or honey, whatever healthy-ish sandwhich or pasta salad i can get out on the road, then mostly salmon or tuna steak with mash potato and veg, chicken or pasta bake etc. Usually about 3 or 4 500ml cans of Relentless, Monster Energy or Oasis, and Pepsi Maxx when i get home. I don't drink enough water though, except when out on a ride when i usually go through about 2 litres in a 1 1/2 hour ride. And i am not loosing any more weight, even when i do 5 20mile+ rides after work :?:

Dose anyone know if 1 1/2-2 litres of energy drink a day is bad for you? I seem to be addicted to Relentless and Monster Energy!
  • ok, here goes:
    Brekky: 4x Weetabix, 2x toast
Lunch: Pasta/ Pizza based + salad
    4 o'clock: Nature Valley Bar + Apple
    6 o'clcok: Toast (between 2 + 4 slices)
Dinner: Whatever mum cooks up (normally lean meat + veg)

Seems a lot but I row 5 days a week + biking on the weekend, at least thats my excuse

    Weekdays

    Breakfast
    2x Weetabix
    Brunch
    Crunchy Nut Cornflakes (80g+)
    Lunch
Pasta meal or something similar, or a chicken burger with onion rings and mayo

Another bowl of cereal or something similar
    6-7pm
    Evening meal, pretty healthy
    10pm
Rice pudding or chocolate sponge or something like that.

Then weekends tend to be a little bit more, and if I can swing it, I get two roast dinners on Sundays.

Am I a big lad??? I weight 54 kilo's, and cannot put on weight!

Then if I go for a ride, I tend to have chocolate bars, jelly baby type sweets and energy drink... Hopefully I won't drop in weight!

jesus man, i'm just over double that and eat loads of vegetables, salad etc. My biggest problem is that i have too many allergies & maybe eat a tad too much sugar but i'm trying my best to cut down on stuff like that. I snack on stuff like celery but need to get rid of the sweet tooth I think

I'm also have loads of cups of tea and coffee, that helps speed up the metabolism! I also had my thyroids checked, and apparently they are normal, despite all that I eat, and not putting on weight!

Relentless and other drinks like that have caffeine in them. You'll find you're addicted to caffeine! Don't try going "cold turkey" I tried it and had a monster headache for over a week, and felt like crap!

It isn't great for you, but not the end of the world, Milke, you'll find you aren't putting on weight because caffiene does, to an extent, inhibit fat uptake (IIRC) and you'll be running your metabolism faster so storing less as fat.

I swim a mile every week and try to ride twice a week too(even in all that snow we had).
Im 41, and 74 kg's and ,again, when not working,i go to the local gym, just to keep my body moving. In the summer,my work days are longer, but my work takes over my training regime so i am always pretty much doing something all the year around...thats the secret to being healthy and keeping weight stable.Well, its no great secret really, just simple maths.for example...eat 200 caloriessburn 300 off...
