    It's a jump style mountain bike.

    Can be ridden on road, off road etc

    It's ok for a freebie, nothing really special, but it will cope with off road riding & a few jumps and it should last a while provided it's well maintained.

    Its not the best but Saracen didnt do a bad Dirt jumper frame. was pretty burly and the welds were pretty tight.

    It should take a good knock but its far from a downhiller

    Saracen a few years ago knocked them out 10 a penny so Id be more worried about the componentry giving up before the frame

  • Well im not looking to do any jumps or anything as extreme as racing downhill .

    Just road and the occassional track through the woods / moors kinda thing . From what Ive read so far it seems that most reccomend upgrading as parts wear as not the best . But for a freebie :D Im not complaining

    Yeah you would be fine with that, it will take alot of punishment from trails before things start giving up

    Im guessign it has 16 gears as it has 8 cogs on back end and 2 by the pedal bit ?

    Can you tell I know nout :oops: lol
