I am organising a trip next year for about 12 others who are mostly inexperienced cyclists. Please would anyone have a 'European summer road touring/sportive list' they could paste in e.g. pedal spanner, list of seat post & stem measurements,
chamois cream, jerseys with zip/velcro pocket so as not to lose passport, etc.

Thanks!

If its any use this is what I took on a 6 week (hotel/b&b) trip round france a couple of years ago. (went by train there and back so no need for bike box)

Couple of things I would add now are a spoke key and my, since purchased, Etrex (though would still take maps).

Bear in mind that if you are riding as a group, you can coordinate the carriage of tools and spares that hopefully won't be needed, so a couple of people take chain tools, a (different) couple of people take spare fold-up tyres, someone else has spare brake/gear cables etc etc.
