No but I love the feel of my scandium Salsa, it doesn't feel harsh like my previous Easton Elite frame. It still feels solid & combined with the very light weight that makes it accelerate just as fast if not faster.
I would buy Scandium again for sure.

I've got a Viper Scandium which I have built myself and been riding for the past 7 months. Frame strong and is nice and light which makes it go up hills easy. I also find it a comfortable riding position and not to harsh on the downhills.

'Scandium' is an aluminium alloy, with small amounts of Sc, less than 2%. However it does have some desirable qualities, yet is just as stiff as other Aluminium alloys, so it again it depends on how the frame is built. Main advantage is increased tensile strength so frames tend to be lighter. (use less of it)

I know a couple of people who rate the Viper highly, though it is quite short.

Take a look at this too:

Frame got a good review in MBUK, though it is stiff. Very light!
