Commencal Supernormal vs Boardman Pro

Just decided to spend a bit more cash on a mountain bike and test ridden the Boardman Pro and Commencal Supernormal. Both feel pretty comfortable and good quality, although I've only been able to go out on the roads around my lbs. I can get either for around £950 and wondered which would be considered the best hardtail.
I normally cycle arounbd the North Downs so mixture of hills, trails and drops.

If you like the riding position of both, and can't split them, then go for the best value - which is the Boardman by miles.0

Except ,when you can get the Supernormal for £800 from Merlin..........

Though it has to be said that it woud take more than the £150 difference to bring the Supernormal up to the Boardman`s spec.

The spec is virtually the same as the Boardman Team though (and £50 cheaper! although it might have much worse wheels)
Their top end model, comparable in spec to the Pro, is the Commencal Flame. Sadly it costs bucket loads more, isn't available next year and is quite hard to get hold of.

Mmm, I want one never the less. Next year it gets ditched in place of the Skin, carbon racey hardtail.0
