Anyone doing this - Sunday. Looks easy enough.
If you want to say 'I hate that jersey', or, 'You ride THAT!' then I am in a blue and white jersey on a Bianchi...

  • Bunch of us are doing it - one lap - probably looking tired before the start. Did it last year and loved it. Weather will be super

I would describe it as rolling. According to the course I have plotted in Bikeroutetoaster, there is 1,500m of elevation gain over the 100km course.

Oh and I feel like I've been raped by an Orangutan  And I've got legs like Girders

No, that wasn't cyclocross ... it was the swimming segment added at no extra charge.

Seriously ... the rains on Saturday become rather worrying when we were signing the route - lots of reversing on narrow lanes (and a woman driving :o ) when we got to "surface water" (aka floods) ... but it all worked out on the day with a few suggested diversions. Most people thought that getting their feet wet was part of the challenge.

Loads of money raised - and we're going to do it all again on 13 September 2009 - see www,macride.org.uk
