    Good call, absolutely seconded

Let's get Hoy, Wiggins Romero and Cavendish and Cooke on board too, and in fact the rest of the Olympic cycle squad, Velodrome AND Road AND BMX track AND MTB.
    "Impressive break"

    "Thanks...

In fact they all would, but I think Hoy has more important things to campaign about with the planned demolition of that velodrome in scotland...

Perhaps all the more reason (if it goes ahead, as seems likely) to campaign to get the roads safer. And strike now, while people remember the names ...

Perhaps I'm just in a very pessimisstic frame of mind today, but even all of those medal winners from the Olympics would most probably forego all support and popularity they currently have with the non-cycling public by supporting such a campaign rather than actually convince car drivers to change their views! :(

I think their efforts would be better spent on encouraging more people to take cycle training, especially young people.

The more people there are on the roads cycling with good roadcraft, the more motorists will become used to sharing the space.

The rickety old thing in Edinburgh? Despite being my home city I've never been in it, and not heard anything good said about it to be honest.
FCN 7- Tourer, panniers, Lycra and clipless

What is this game you speak of? Of course I'm not playing...

She should get out of the armoured Range Rover and get on a bicycle for starters (there must be a company that does clipless for stiletto's) - that "has been" husband of hers could do with a bit more fitness too - LA roads are quite wide and there are some lovely routes in the Canyons.......Oh, hang on....

A message to Rebecca - there's a house key under the bucket by my front door, come round any time you want, and bring your lycra xxx
  • Surely Boris Johnson would be far better? Especially if he gave someone a good stern comical telling off. Not sure if it would work though...

Why, is this inspired by her recent photography session?
