Looks nice, quite understated for a Santa Cruz too.
  • is that an 09 frame, looks quite a lot different.

I love my Chameleon, it started as an all mountain, but I only use it for downhill trashing now.

    I like that colour
  • thanks for sorting the links....

Its an 08 frame with the eccentric bottom bracket but being an xl it gets the gusset from the top tube to the seat tube
  • Awesome looking bike - always liked Chameleons, and they seem to get better as time goes on. Looking at that one, I reckon it might be one of the best looking HT's around. Not a fan of all Santa Cruz bikes, but the Chameleon & Heckler are sorted.

hi there, your bike looks great! I am about to order same frame size and colour, (green comes close but blue just pips it i think). still deciding on forks though. Going towards revelations at the mo. I tried a size L in lbs, found it too small. I'm going to order an XL (I'm 6ft), how tall are you? Would be great to try an XL first but lbs has none in stock.
  • great bike but they definetly come up small on sizing, I'm 6' 3" in my socks....if your 6' your right between sizes....what sort of riding do you do....if its mainly xc you might be okay on an xl frame inline seat post shortish stem....try and get a ride /sit on both frame sizes though as sizing is very personal....I'm just fitting a 90mm thomson stemand that feel perfect to me not too stretched at all........

lets see some pics when you get your bike......good luck

hey there, thanks for the comment, would have liked to try xl but decided to take a risk as shop had none for me to try. i opted for a red frame in the end to match the forks! an't wait! the bike shop should have it ready for the weekend/early nxt week so will post a pic when i get it.

Here she is!! Took it out today and love love love it
  • i m still riding my original SC Chameleon & although its an old design the rear end is so stiff. I really couldnt justify buying a new frame when the one i have is ideal. I do like what they ve done with the newer designs. The Jackal also looks pretty awsome.
Show me your green bits i might buy them !
  • Hi, I first saw your bike on pinkbike and loved the colour and the look of the frame, I have a XTC two to one singlespeed at the moment and wich has track fork ends and no rear disk mountings, so i was looking for a singlespeed frame with the option of fitting discs to the rear, when i saw that the new Camelian had EBB i was sold s i've orderd a liquid blue in large. I'm 5'8" so i could have had medium but i mainly do xc rideing and the geomatry on the large seems to be right for me. I'll be running it with ridged carbon 29er forks 130mm equivelent. I know; i'm a glutten for punishment! orderd it at the start of december cant wait, should be here thursday.
