seat forward

bike shop said my seat was too high and too far back i put the seat up but it was too high think if i left it the height evans told me i would not be walking now i also moved the seat forward but now tops of my knees hurt should i move it back a bit

    You lost me I'm afraid. My reading isn't too hot when reading something without punctuation.

    I think the problem stems from having too large a frame - I think you need to see an expert bike fitter like Paul Hewitt rather than Evans. He'll make suggestions, it'd be upto you whether or not you stick with. It's a bit difficult getting decent fitting advice off randomers on a forum.

    You didn't say how you arrived at your seat hight.

  • if it dont get too bad live with it . if you go to the gym you ache afterwards , if you go for a run you ache afterwards . all part of exercise .
