my rear mudguard bit the dust yesterday, it was a topeak? one with the kinda rachet thing to hold it to the bike..?
anyway since I had gotten it really it had been coming loose after a couple of hours in the saddle and slipping down onto the wheel.
the yellow pin the holds the rachet in place snapped and it came loose and fell off so it went in the nearest bin...not worth the £18 or whatever it was I paid for it..
so whats good to go in the world of rear mudguards?...it has to be something reliable and not fall off at the first bit of gravely ground !!
I am open to options here and price aint too much of an issue...
thanks in advance

I didnt go much on the crud catcher at all , I tried it out at least 5 times in very muddy conditions and when I got home I was just as covered with crap as when I ride without guards!!!
The guards in the race pack you have recommended are also slightly smaller and narrower then the Crud Catchers I have so also less effective.0 -
cheers guys...will check them out, someone also told me to look at these...whats your thoughts on them/it?
