    The way the coast is plunging into the sea around there I bet that gets shorter every day.

    lol, yeah you're not kidding. Fortunately, prevailing wind direction etc means it's usually a head wind on the way *in* to Norwich. So i get blown (no giggling at the back) all the way home. On the windy days i often get the train from either Yarmouth or Acle

    Yes PRJ45 that is a bit of a worry further up the coast, more worrying locally is the barking mad idea they have to not mend the flood defences but just let part of the broads become part of the North Sea.

    On warmer days going home there's often an interesting temperature change around the Runham area as you (ok, i) meet the cooler air coming off the sea.
