At first I thought they had resurfaced the roads ....

Went out for my first ride on my new Sunday September titanium bike tonight through Essex lanes north of Romford, and after a year of almost losing fillings on my Carrera Vanquish ally bike I was treated to a ride so smooth that it seemed like the roads had been resurfaced.
Then I came to my senses, and realised that since most of the journey was in the Epping Forest Council area, and they are totally crap at repairing roads, let alone making them smooth (they are VERY good at spraying a red line around potholes and then doing nothing for months) the credit must be due to the Sunday September!
Luvly bike - can't wait for the weekend when I can give it a good workout.
Go on - buy one!!
