ok been doing a bit of reading on here and noticed that cree lights get quite a good press. Any pointers on which out of the two are best, or are there any alternatives in the price that can touch them in terms of effectiveness?

Rob,
Did you have any joy with your lights - I had a look at the website and they really do look very good, but why so CHEAP!!!
For that money you could get one and if its half decent - just get another!!0 -
well i ended up getting one of these bad boys and a little velcro thing to attach it from another site:

just need to get some batteries and see what it's like, if its good then i'll get another one and have dual lights, if its bad then it goes in the camper for camping trips.0
