    I think that's really sweet.
  • Much as I appreciate that young people do need 'opportunities to to things', maybe he should buy a bike!

Mini moto things are scary... I have one, and it's nearly killed me a few times now... it's my yellow plasitc nemesis...

    May the scalping commence!
  • Assuming it isn't a WUM, I think the illiterate little fellow should be applauded for taking an interest in the instruments of democracy.

    Brilliant idea!

I haven't actually read the petition as I can pretty much get the drift from the mini-moto part........any motorised vehicle that could easily have it's engine swapped out for that of the one found in my wife's hair dryer and still maintain a similar level of performance, and noise, should be destroyed. Along with the owner. I have never understood the fascination with trying to look "cool" whilst creating such an irritating noise and barely hitting 30MPH!! They should either wait until they can ride a "proper" motor bike or get a pedal bike and actually get some exercise!

Theres a young lad, maybe 19 or so, and I've seen him around here using his on the roads. I always thought you had to use a dedicated track due to the tiny size?
  • You can ride them pretty much anywhere in theory, but I gather that they're actually illegal on roads.

Not sure why though, maybe as they don't hvae MOTs/Insurance/Numberplates and you can't obtain any of the above...
