Anybody got any info on local groups of MTB riders that meet up weekends/evenings in the Devon Area, preferabally Extere/Newton Abbot direction. Or any good ideas for a nice bit of off roading
Im not an expert but am willing to get amongst the dirt and have a laugh, also im fit enough for endurance stuff but do prefer off road rather than just sitting on tarmac.
Any help welcome.

Thanks FSR. For GT BACKWOODS and anyone else for that matter or current program is as follows;
MTB Cross Country Ride - Tuesdays
Meet at 18:30hrs B&Q, Marsh Mills, pace is pretty hard and technical, ride time 2 hrs minimum. You will need at least 'get you home' lights from now on.
Easy Road Ride - Tuesdays
Meet at B&Q Marsh Mills at 18:30hrs. 20 miles of easy pace, good for newcomers or those wanting a recovery ride. Not a led ride this week so just turn up and mutually agree pace and route!
MTB Adventure Ride - Thursdays
Usually meet at Yelverton Co-op Car park at the time of 19:00hrs. A more relaxed off-road moorland ride suitable for all abilities. There is an optional post ride social drink so bring a change of clothes!
Road Ride - Thursdays
Meet at B&Q, Marsh Mills 18:30 for 25 - 30 mile ride, pace continues to be 'up tempo' with the usual ad hoc fun sprints thrown in for good measure .
MTB Fun Ride - Saturday 6th September
Meet at the Dartmoor Diner, Roborough Down we will then drive to the ride start point. As usual pace will suit all comers so family and friends will be very welcome.
If you are new to this ride please let us know you are riding by replying to our contact e-mail on the YOGi website.
For ALL rides you will now require (at the very least) 'get you home' lights.0
