I was overtaken by a nice driver, nice and wide... and about 10 seconds after he/she had driven off I felt this sudden rush of air as a Porsche carrera (the black one I had a run in with a while back - rocognised the end of the plates I think) shot past me with about 2 inches to spare. I thought "bl**dy hell that was fast" and as I finished "fast" in me head felt another rush of air as a learner motorbike rider shot past me, again a few inches to spare.

The motorcyclist then hit a pothole further up and nearly came off. I should t have laughed but I did find that quite funny at the time. I was sure from their behaviour that they were racing. Its a 30mph zone and to me I'm guessing they were a fair bit over that. Caught it on camera too

Can you post up the footage?

I've been tinkering with the idea of getting a helmet cam, are they expensive?

Footage is on its way (just waiting for youtube to process). I would say that if you're going to use one every day - get a quality wired one rather than the atc3k (which I have) as they appear sharper, have a wider lens and more options.

atc3k is about a ton, though I think for my next one it will be a 580 cam iirc and a solidstate recorder. Should be about 200 for me to get that i reckon :)
