Insurance?

Hi all,
Just got my new bike and am wondering about insurance. My home insurance won't touch anything over £500 and the cost to change is over £200 so I figure I can get better elsewhere. I've looked around but so many of them have MULTIPLE exclusions making them almost worthless seeing as my bike is in an outdoor summerhouse/shed and not kept in the house with me I don't need comp use - just theft cover...
Any advice???

Ask shop for a copy/new one, there should be a record of the sale at the shop somewhere. It might take them some time, and its best if you know someone from the shop who knows you got the bike there.Bicyclingeroner. Verb, By-sigh-clinger-onner. Person who hoards bycycles and parts, usually in a glass cabinet.0 -
My first year of cycleguard insurance finsihed recently but probably going to switch to M&S home contents, there are just too many get out clauses on the cycleguard policy for my liking (and I also think there would be conflict between home contents and cycleguard over who pays what as both say their cover doesn't apply if it's covered by another policy - at least going with M&S its jsut one policy to worry about).
As for a recipt - yes you will need one according to the small print on policies I've read but as the poster above says jsut ask the shop to do you a new one.0 -
I got a quote from Endsleigh for £111 for my felt stated as being £1500, but they only go upto £1500 which isn't "that" good really
But i guess that is cheap!0
