Thx all for the previous advice,. For a cheep bike I got my Giant Rincon and love it ...
Now I have "expanded" my ride into work, a mile or so XC on grass, then a forest trial, then a mile or so on road finished with a canal path... A nice ride into work !

My company is now looking into joining a cycle to work scheme..So I am looking to get another bike, a full Sus.. was thinking of a Specialized FS ? Is there a bike that can do "all" the above well ? What do you recommend... I guess I will have £1-1.5k ..

PS ..If I get my specialized or giant (or whatever) from Halfords (That sucks, as they know jack about bikes here at the store where I am, and could not even setup my child's bike!) does it mean that as they are not a re-seller of the brand my Manufactures Warranty will be invalid (As all their promotional material states?)

All advice welcome
£1-1.5K "do it all" bike :?
Warranty info if buying via Halfords :?:

Thx All

sounds like you still need a hard tail.

Aye.. You may well be right... I kinda fancy a full Sus :) Never ridden one, just figured it
would be better XC and on the "small" jumps :D ...

Maybe the idea of a full sus bike is running away with me when in fact it would be no different to what I have now for the current riding I do ?

Regarding the Halfords warranty issue, some users here have reported problems recently.

However, I've successfully made a warranty claim on a bike sourced by Halfords from Merlin Cycles via the scheme - so it would be a good idea to email the bike company concerned and ask if they would honour the warranty for you if the bike was supplied via Halfords.
