local shop selling last years model off cheap ( £1599 ) seriously tempted , anyone got one ? what they like ? still a large wad to shell out , so must be sure before parting with well over 1 months wages

why don't you ask the LBS if you can take it out for a test ride?
there really is only you that can decide if it (suits you sir).
by the way i have a 2006 madone and love it to death but thats me if we all liked the same model there would only be one model.

i bought mine off ebay also m8 bargain of the century pratically brand new every component brand new still had protective covers on the hoods only the frame ever seen the road well happy with it
