Help choosing XC bike

Hello, I’m 16 and I’m 6”5’, so I’m still growing. I’ve been riding a hard tail for a few years, I would like to get a full sus, I was wondering how much I would need to spend to get a good full sus, and any suggestions of bikes.

What sort of terrain do you ride at the minute, trails and XC or anything gnarlier? Any ideas of budget range?0

Generally you'd be looking at spending £800+ for a half decent full susser.
GT I-drive, Commencal Meta, Mongoose Teocali, Giant Trance, all worth looking at/test riding.

I’ve looked on some other forums and ppl r saying 2 have a look at the specialized fsr XC, do u agree? And which one? I also heard about the Kona Kikapu Deluxe 2007 is that any good? Or is there any better one’s?0

Commencal Meta 4 or 5 and Giant Trance or Trance X are really nice bikes. The 09 FSR XC looks worth investigating as well.
The standard and best answer though, is make a shortlist of 3-4 that you like the look of and that are well reviewed, and try and demo them - then you can make up your own mind. There might well be a bike that's great on paper but just doesn't fit you that well.0 -
