Hi all,
Im just wondering, How hard is it to bleed hydraulic Disc brakes?, Some people make it out to be really hard and say it will take ages and others say they can do it with no problem in 10 mins, Im not planning on getting a new MTB any time soon but I know for sure my next will have hydraulic disc brakes so that was kind of a question for future reference,

Also how often do you need to bleed hydraulic brakes? is it weekly, everytime you need to ajust them or just if they leek?

Thanks

Liam

with the right kit is is easy.

but some are not as easy as others.

    more info on parktools.

Only need to bleed say once a year IMO. Others may say different, but unless you notice a worsening of brake performance thats not pad related then I wouldn't worry about it.
Dont know what brakes you have, but most are a variation on this.
Some are easier some a bit more difficult...
