Last Friday evening 22nd August I was cycling home from work in north London, along Tufnell Park Road. When I was knocked of by a car coming out of a side road and turning across my lane. This caused me to hit the side of the car, fly over the bonnet and land on my back. From then on for some time, I was dazed, lying in the middle of the road not able to move.

Thanks to the people who stopped traffic and called an ambulance.
Thanks to the fellow cyclist on a black folding bike, who ensured the police were called and made sure two witness statements were given.

Thankfully the injuries I received were not serious. However this avoidable incident did result in damage to clothing, bike and the need to take some days of work.

This was a frightening experience, I am relieved it did not result in more serious injuries. In any case, if that good cyclist reads this, and others who also assisted.

Many Thanks.
