hi to all

my first post here

i own an old killer V and really like the ride, but i would like disk brakes on it

has anyone managed to adapt this frame?

it has long dropouts like in this pic

would be a shame to have to buy a new frame!

and you run 8 or 9 speed? if yes then no probs.

Have a look for an A2Z brake adaptor. linky in the tech links sticky above.

is this as easy as measuring the space between the dropouts?

    thanks

    ill measure when im home!

i seen the a2z adapter but was concerned as the killer V dropouts are quite long and stick out backwards

the forces go into the brake bosses. if it will not fit then there is no options.

opps thinking of an other, but the A2Z does rest on the seat stay.

cant think of the other at the moment.
