Any ideas where i can get an old colnago re-sprayed, re-chromed and re-transferred? (I have heard that Maestro aren't really interested in this sort of job!)

Simply peerless. He's done 3 for me now and having used other refinishers in the past with middling results I wouldn't (and won't) be going anywhere else.

Not the cheapest, but by far the best...

Gavin's post says it all - Atlantic's finish is superior to any 'factory' respray. I had a 'custom' job a few years ago and it was stunning.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I'd also recommend them - they resprayed a Pinarello for me a couple of years ago and did a superb job.

Another recommendation for AB. I had two Holdsworth frames restored earlier this year. One of them in was in a particularly bad way when I sent it off. The quality of finish is superb. You defnitely get what you pay for in this instance.
  • What's the cost on something like this?

Starting point is £165 but if you want one of those Art-Deco finishes it's bound to be higher - but you are talking Colnago
