Campag QS compatability

Okay all you clever people, here's a tricky one for you.......

My GF's bike has Veloce shifters (not the new QS ones) and she needs a new front mech. Will the new Campag QS front mechs work with the older shifters?

    No problem - recently fitted a Record QS f/mech to be used with my older Record Ergos and shifting is perfect.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
