Hi guys!
Am going to spend a week n Wales in a place called Dias Cross (somewhere between Fishguard and Cardigan) near Newport in Pombrokeshire. Any good routes/trails that any of you might wish to point out? Thanks.

    Hi Lily
The only decent off road in Pembs is the Preselis which is basically one ridge between Crymych in the east to Cwm Gwaun in the west and then some shorter routes over the next set of hills to the coast at Newport/Dinas. There there are several ways out of Cwm Gwaun all of which will involve a bit of pushing/carrying, and several routes down off the main ridge going south to Rosebush which are more rideable. It will be wet and boggy in places. I haven't ridden there for years but I hope this helps.
  • Thank you for this, and apologies for this very late reply - have not been able to log in!!!

  • Just seen your post - there are routes on The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site which you can download as PDF's. Try link

Did the ridge as mentioned in July, lovely weather but still very boggy - can't imaging what it will be like after the last couple of weeks
  • Cool, thanks. Would you say that would be suitable for a HT or a FS bike?

  • Should be OK for either; I had FS, my mate was hardtail.
