well i'm not going to waste too much time on him but basically his views come across as speed = good, other road-users / road safety / speed-control measures = bad, and anyone who doesn't agree with him = wrong.

Jeremy Clarkson is an entertainer, and a pretty good one. He doesn't actually believe all that polemic ranting he recites for the camera any more than Warren Mitchell believes the thoughts of Chairman Alf. Some of his stunts, such as driving to the North Pole or pitting a Landrover against a Challenger tank actually highlight the pretentious stupididy of using such vehicles for the school run or visiting the garden centre.This post contains traces of nuts.0
