Thanks very much for picking my bike up out of the road, mate. Hope you got to your meeting in time!

Turning at Roehampton Gate roundabout to head out of the Park. Went too fast into the corner. Ow. Can feel things beginning to seize up.

what are these fixie rides you go on and are they full of hardcore scary messengers or do normal people go as well?

  • It's a bunch of guys who ride ss or fixed in Leeds. No messengers to speak of in Leeds so it's a easy going ( if a certain mad Polish bloke doesn't turn up!) ride around town followed by bears.

check out fixed gear leeds on FB

    Sniffing the WD 40.

It's the only way to fly......

Speaking of sniffing - I decided that I had to wash out my mitts last night as the smell made Mrs T gag.....

The water in the bowl was 2 inches deep - and I couldn't see the bottom......

Note to self - you honk.

Cheers. Just some scrapes on the right knee, thigh (that's a nice one - made me yelp in the shower like a girl), elbow and shoulder. Ripped my top, but the bib shorts are remarkably unscathed.

Presently trying to figure out how I'm going to keep this from the better half.

Weird how that happens eh? I cut my hip up pretty badly crashing at the Etape but the shorts were hardly damaged, and the bit that was ripped wasnt even over the hip...

    Heal up well.

We used to have fixed gear rides in Birmingham every Thursday but people stopped turning up when there was a hint of a cloud on the horizon. Scared of a bit of rain? Boo-hoo.

  • so not many rides then with our weather.
I will be reverting to my ss hybrid if it rains!
