TDF 2009.....time trial

Just back from a trip to the alps and noticed in the local paper there an article which seemed to suggest a time trial at Annecy is on the cards for the Tour next year. Coincidently someone has also just posted an interesting route round the lake on http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Ch-tillon-Forclaz. (Perhaps on reflection 85km is a bit long) Anyone have any info or thoughts on this one?

    I know the area reasonably well, and it won't be that one. The route south of Annecy is a big climb with, I think, a 20%+ section in it. :shock:

    And the roads to the east are too small. The simple route around the lake on the larger roads would be fine, though, just a couple of small climbs.
