Death in my home town

I got into work this morning and everyone was asking me about this. Hadn't a clue it happened as I went to bed by about 9.30. Very tragic, and shockingly for the local paper nobody has gone on there to slag people off about lights and road tax (has happened on every cyclist report for the past few years)
I know people slag me off for what I say locally (and some online), but there does appear to be a more angry driving style down here lately. God forbid you go to walk across a pedestrian crossing, or slow down a motorist on a bike.

There was a bit on the BBC site about 7 people in the car. How the HELL can anyone drive with 7 people in a 406...? It seems the arrests were a cautionary step by the police, a step they may not have taken had it been less in the car (my opinion, prolly no where near fact  )
Seems my work mate has met the poor chap once too, a friend of her neighbours.0
