Hi,

I have Hayes HFX mag plus brakes, and the piston on the left, front and back now, has got stuck and wont move in or out. I've tried taking the caliper apart to see if i can get them out that way, but I dont want to risk breaking the pin on the piston.

So, is there anything I can do to get them moving and then keep them moving?

Thanks in advance
Nathan

Get a screwdriver in there and pry them apart. The pin doesn't brake easily. Even so, install a set of worn brake pads if you're worried about damaging something. Insert the screwdriver & pry those pads apart boy! They'll soon separate.
