I've just been emailed by a mate that's a bit stuck with replacing his brake pads.

Chris says...
...hi guys
Can you tell me how to retract the pistons on hope brakes so that i can fit new pads?
cheers !!

I don't run Hope brakes, so any help I could pass on would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Pez.

the same as any brake. push on the old pads to press the pistons home.

    Cheers Nicklouse.

    I'll pass it on.

Sounds like a bit of maintained pressure with a plastic tyre leaver is in order.

    Many thanks!

the plastic tyre lever is my weapon of choice for pushing the pistons back in my hope minis.
