.....with the following menu:

Olive Tapenade with Goats Cheese
Fillet of Veal with Vegetables
Oven Baked Hake in a Herb Butter
Chocolate Mousse with Peach Coulis

I realse this has NOTHING to do with Cycling, but thats on the Menu in my hotel tonight and I genuinely have NO idea what wine goes with these things to reccomend.

TIA

I'd choose something crisp amd delicious fort the first course to cut through the goats cheese - a nice steely Chablis for example. The veal would be OK with that but I'd prefer a subtle young to middle aged claret from around Pauillac or St Julien. You could bring out the Chablis again for the Hake but that desert would really benefit from a glass of desert wine.

If I had to choose one bottle for the lot it would a Chablis, or something a little more fragrant, but nevertheless dry and acidic, such as a Sancerre. It could all be done with a claret if anyone were adverse to drinking white.

Chablis(crisp & white) is a good idea. Its mostly Brits so they would be pretty averse to a Claret as, unfortunately for me, most tend to have one bottle of wine a night only
I also have a wierd, Merlot White (!) which I think may work, but its the best wine to go with veal I cant get my head around.
    Thanks guys
