Hi all

Have the opportunity to purchase a Cannondale F1 as new from a mate at a decent price... Have looked for reviews of the bike and can't find any...... certainly like the look of it, but is this the bike for me for around the £1K mark?

The 2008 version? On paper, at RRP, strikes me as very poor value, but not ridden it.
  • Yes the 2008. I know what you mean - the RRP is £1500 but I think I can get it for £900 at a push. That must be getting into the realms of good value?.....

For 900 it seems about the same spec as many other hardtails at RRP, the main difference is that fork. Try it out, see if you like it.
  • Agreed, the lefty is the thing that is attracting me, but only at that price.

    Thanks for your input
