It was the 0% on all purchases till ..... bit .. that got us [ well the wife  ] it is not completely accurate..

Any way they kept hassling us and didn't send us a statement at least one month and wouldn't let us pay without it............. we would have paid a big chunk off.

The 3% on balance transfer is normal, we are going to transfer again though as Abbey don't have the fee, we will pay the lot off and bin the cards [ less than a grand owed thankfully] .

It was annoyance with Virgin and the continual phone calls and reminders that it is 0% etc etc that really p*ssed us off. They suck, hope Branson is proud of his empire and the work of his minions. I have burnt my copy of Tubular Bells

Uh oh, I took one out in March. Only to transfer a load of little bits of cards into one manegable sum. It's only over a grand so i've split it up till the %free ends next year. I think my purchases offer has just ended. So Bonk, what was the problem with it?

Credit cards - only use them if you've already got the money :!:

Seems that despite the credit crunch we are still only too willing to over-extend our spending (which is perfectly acceptable if the purchases are bike-related, but utterly deplorable if it's on non-necessitites like food!) :D

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!

Mcbain - totally agree with you on that, although a few years back I did get into trouble with them as I bought three bikes in a month, maybe a tad over excessive
