When I was out doing a charity ride last year there was a big hill. The problem wasnt the big hill though it was at the end of the hill were it met a busy main road. So you obviously have to stop but i found it really hard to keep balance as it was very steep were the hill met the main road!!

Any advice on how to get over this problem as I have lost confidence in the clipless pedals but really want to use them??

Thanks, Tom

There is a typical road like that that I come across, what I do is to change down a few gears and just keep rolling and be ready to unclip if the need arises.
