What a splendid result!

A medal so richly deserved and she was so generous in her praise for all the 'back room' team too.
Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom

    Excellent stuff - a just reward for her domination over the last few years.

    I think equal praise is due to Anna Meares who won an Olympic silver just 6 months or so after a crash which not only threatened to end her career but very nearly left her paralysed.

    Congratulation GB team for a very domainant performance. As an Aussie it breaks my hear to see you above us on the medal tally, but given the results on the track not really surprising. The Anna Meares story is amazing, i saw her race before she went on her fateful trip to Las Vegas, and she was breaking all her pbs and looked in great form. might have been a more intresting final if she hadnt had such a devasting injury. Very courageous young lady
    Take care of the luxuries and the necessites will take care of themselves.
