Hi im going to Cyprus in November for a bit of business/pleasure. Ill be taking my mtb bike with me and im looking for some trails to ride. Could anyone advise me of any way marked routes anywhere or even any tour guides that i could contact. I will be renting a car for the duration of my stay so travelling around isnt a problem. Any ideas would be much appriciated.

    Hi Simon,
    Cypriot maps are pretty dire to be honest and even in the most popular spot for mountain biking (In the Troodos mountains), there is only the E4 route that is waymarked. To be honest you can't really go wrong in Troodos but i'd probably recommend a guided route from these guys http://www.wheeliecyprus.com/guiding.html
    Alternatley a good, if not long route is through the Akamas Game Reserve outside Paphos following the trails there all the way to Polis. It's remote though so make sure you're well prepared.
    Just to add, if you do the Akamas route you need to stick to the tracks as there are UXB's everywhere.
