Is this guy a concern for Cav in the TOB?

Not in the same league at all. Hardly the same sport.

Mind you, Cav would probably be eaten alive in a lot of US crits, but if it's a true road race, the kid has nothing to worry about from Bahati. He's very powerful, but does not have the same turn of speed as Cav. Bahati is a true US criterium specialist. Very impressive to see sprinting nonetheless.

You know I’m taking Rahsaan [Bahati] to the Tour of Britain. You know they talked about [Mark] Cavendish being the fastest man in 100 meters, maybe after 120 miles, but put him up against Bahati in 60 miles or [Ivan] Dominguez. Good Luck!

How long is the London stage?

Depends who gets the best lead out. If Columbia take a good team with the goal of getting cav stage victories then I don't think cab has too much to worry about, after all cav is a world champ in the maddison which is a very short event

The place Bahati would eat Cavendish for breakfast is during the whole race, not the sprint. US crits are short, fast affairs with usually insanely tight circuits. Seeing how Cav rides in corners, he simply would not be in the running for the final dash. Well, maybe not, as he's improved there this year.

Having witnessed both men sprinting, I don't care what the distance of the race is, if Bahati and Cav enter the final straight together, my green is on Cavendish.
