Anyone got a set of Mavic Ksyrium SL Wheels 2008

As the subject suggests.Does anyone have these wheels,what are your thoughts,are they worth the buck? can you recommend them.Or is there something better for a similar price?

    This subject has been done to death ... sorry if you've not been around to enjoy the weekly ksyrium vs. the others debates that the assorted characters on this board have.
    :lol: it's been an absolute blast !!

    so ... if you can't be arsed searching ...

    1. very reliable and solid wheelset with decent hubs, that is hard to knock out of true.
    2. overpriced
    3. veritable windmill - i.e. poor aerodynamics ... but much better than a 98 spoke handbuilt
    4. Shimano, Campag and Fulcrum are all better options - a bit more aerodynamic and better hubs.

    But.. you will still see lots of people winning races on Ksyriums, so maybe it doesn't matter that much after all
