essential on road items

hi - i am new to on - road cycling and have taken it up for fitness and (hopefully) weight loss. Any tips re what i could take when i am on the road, pump, repairkit, tool set etc etc really appreciated :?:

lightweight waterproof, spare tubes, pump (topeak road morph is good but a little large) patches, levers, fluids, multitool with chain tool built in, spare links and joining pin, that's about it.0

I noticed that too...but If I were to get upset everytime there is a duplicated thread on the forums that I read then I would be constantly ripping my hair out!17 Stone down to 12.5 now raring to get back on the bike!0 -
