Hey, I may be buying some 2006 marzocchi 888vf2 for my diamondabck xts moto and have been told i will need a headset reducer. I have no idea about these, what size i will need etc could anyone look at my bike spec on the net and the forks and maybe recomend a reducer that will do the job.

Thanks

You either need some 1.5 to 1 1/8th heaset reducers and then a new 1 1/8" headset of a reducing headset.

and i hope they are 170mm forks.

well the frame will not really like a fork that long. even if they had the flat crowns they are still really too long for the frame.

So in otherwords dont get any big travle DH forks because they will destroy my frame if they take a big impact? Or are we talking a mess up of geomitry?

Ah ok then well thats a shame, I might give them a miss then. I would be able to get some 170/180mm double or tripple crown forks without messing it up?

Actually i might just leave it how it is because im not having any problems with it so might just keep the money for any repairs or parts i may need in the upcoming months.

Thanks very much for the help tho !!!!
