Alright guys,
Im wanting some freehub body springs for my mechanics toolbox as quite a few people seem to be snapping them where i am. Ive seen some hope ones for 1.50 for 3 but im unsure as to whether they'd fit most other hubs.
Alternatively if anyone knows where to get a bulk of say 100ish please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Andy

why? the hope ones are Hope only. Most others are not rebuildable and you just fit a new body. and there are no really common bodies."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hadley, Hope, Sun Ringle, Quandos (bleurgh), Some DT's although they are different sizes on say the onyx for example.
Shimanos are the only ones i can think of which aren't really serviceable.
Carrying freehub bodies in my workshop toolbox would be daft and cost a lot whereas a spring, which is the thing thats breaking is very cheap and solves the problem. Plus people in the alps on holiday are wanting things done now and not wait to order one.
Anyone else know?yep, my letter 0 key is bust0 -
Well unless you're from Scotland or Yorkshire, for that price why not get a selection? Any mechanic worth his salt should be prepared for any eventuality.
How many sets are you likely to need? Get a couple of Hope sets (there's four springs and pawls in Pro IIs BTW), couple of DTs etc.0 -
Yeah, I am from Yorkshire, you could see the frugality coming through.
Not sure how many I'll need though but they don't take up much space and are pretty cheap.
Guess ill just have to keep looking for all the different ones.yep, my letter 0 key is bust0
