My avid jucy 3 front break on my GT I-Drive is vibrating horribly and rubbing and squeeling whenever i pick up speed i have tried adjusting them at the post, nothing, tried taking the front wheel of and using card to adjust them by closin the calaper on the disk and the card, no effect. I have now run out of ideas and would apreciate any help that anyone could give.

  • I'd check the caliper alignment...make need a tweek.

That sorted my squeeling on my J5s.

    Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp (2007)
  • Is that done by loosening the bolts on the mounting on the post and then squeezing the brake then tightening the bolts, cause if it is I've already tried that and it didn't work.

do you need new pads? usually judders if pads are worn or contaminated so you could swap the pads around to eliminate?

sorry, also if pads are binding like you say and you reset calliper properly( i usually end up doing it by eye) take wheel off and with blunt object push pads back out. two separate problems i think
