Hayes Stroker Trail...hose shorten?

Nothing on Hayes site in the support section about Strokers (is it really that hard for such a big company to post info about some of their newest products?).
I really need to lop about a foot off my rear brake hose on my Stroker trail, snaring sheep around the neck on every ride...maybe not such a bad thing seeing as I'm Welsh
With the brake I only recieved instructions for bleeding an HFX 9 (cheers again Hayes).
Nick kindly sent me full bleed instructions for Strokers a while ago and I've been holding it in my inbox waiting until I could find hose shortening instructions. But still nothing.
Does anyone know the correct procedure for shortening the hose on these things or am I destined to snare sheep, walkers, gates and branches forevermore?
