Stupid tyres
I invested in some new go faster wheels and Ive got the rear cassette on O.K but now I cannot fit the tyres as they are too tight. Is there any way that they can be stretched so they go easier or is it just a matter of brute force and ignorance to get them on?
Cheers

common problem
some fit and others don't
do a search on this forum as there is a list over what fits on different rims0 -
O.K thanks
silly me assumed that a 700 tyre would fit on a 700 rim :roll:The gear changing, helmet wearing fule.

Brute force should work...
Perhaps manufacturers should list the exact size in the small print.Rich0 -
Stick the tyres in the tumble drier for a minute or two, then fit them.0

All 700c tyres do fit all 700c rims. Some can be a little tighter than others. Try using a little more skill and dexterity, rather than your brute force and ingorance, and you'll be OK.
