UST rims and non-UST tyres?

My rear free hub has recently decided to giv up the ghost, however, it reluctantly refuses to come off the wheel. The wheel is crap anyway, so im now in the market for a new rear. Ive considered going tubeless, but with the expense of a new wheel, i cnt afford new tyres atm, so if i were to purchase UST rims for the new wheel, could i use a standard tyre and an innertube with it until i can afford UST tyres?

know anywhere i can get a decent set of UST rims for under £40? At the moment im lookin at sum sunringle sos rims for lyk £30, but ther nt UST. Can u think of sum rims which are UST, under lyk £40, and tuff enuf for jumping? (no more thn lyk 5 feet)

A whole new wheel yeah? Often cheaper than getting your hub rebuilt.
